Cheddar Bay Biscuit Breakfast Casserole
Cheddar Bay Biscuit Breakfast Casserole
I can’t sing, but this Cheddar Bay Biscuit Breakfast Casserole makes me wanna sing! 🎶
I took my favorite breakfast casserole recipe, skipped the hash browns, and topped the whole thing with Cheddar Bay Biscuits. And honestly? I think we have a new breakfast favorite on our hands.
This is the kind of breakfast that feels a little extra without making your morning extra complicated. It’s perfect for Christmas morning, a lazy Saturday, or basically any morning ending in y. 😂
One of my favorite additions is roasted red peppers. They bring a little sweetness to the egg custard that balances everything out so nicely. It’s a small ingredient that makes a big difference!
The key is to let the egg custard bake until it’s almost set before adding the biscuits right on top. That way, the biscuits can finish baking alongside the casserole without getting lost in the egg mixture.
And we can’t forget the best part: brushing those biscuits with garlic herb butter. They come out golden, buttery, and packed with that signature Cheddar Bay flavor.
It’s cozy, cheesy, and exactly the kind of breakfast that gets everyone to the table. And if you happen to start singing while you make it, well, I won’t judge. 😉
