Easy Poppyseed Sliders

Who doesn’t love a mini sammie?! These are always requested anytime I’m going to a get-together. We even sometimes have them on Christmas Eve! They are fantastic AND simple!

What set’s these Sammies apart is the poppy-seed topping - It's SO easy to make - all you need is melted butter, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, minced onion and poppy seeds.

Make these once and your friends and family will BEG you to bring them to every gathering.

Sliders are the ultimate party food. These Poppyseed Sliders are bursting with flavor and ridiculously easy to make. Plus, they're totally customizable – add some spice, throw in your favorite veggies, the world is your slider bun!

This recipe is also a win for picky eaters (looking at you, middle schooler obsessed with K-Pop). The cheese melts in with the mayo and mustard and creates this heavenly melted delicious sauce.

We're about to whip up restaurant-worthy Poppyseed Sliders in under 30 minutes, with minimal clean-up required.

Recipe: Poppyseed Sliders

Ingredients:

24 Hawaiian rolls

About 2LBS of meat from the deli (I use DiLusso!!)

12-24 slices of cheese (I use Havarti)

Mayo

Mustard

Poppyseed Sauce

1 tbsp. poppyseeds

1&1/2 tbsp. yellow mustard

1 stick butter {half cup}, melted

1 tbsp. minced onion

1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Slice your Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally for faster assembly.

  3. Place meat and a slice of cheese on each roll. Top with mayo and mustard (not much). Then place the top of the roll on all the sandwiches.

  4. In a small bowl, whisk together poppy seeds, mustard, melted butter, minced onion, and Worcestershire sauce.

  5. Arrange the sliders on a baking dish close together. Pour/spoon the tops generously with the poppyseed sauce. Let them sit for about 10 minutes, so the butter can slightly set.

  6. Cover the sliders with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 2-5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
