Maid Rite Sliders

These aren't your average sliders – these are flavor bombs waiting to explode in your mouth.

Why You Gotta Make These:

  • Secret Sauce Slap! The key to these sliders lies in the addictive tangy-savory sauce. We're simmering the ground beef in a flavor bath that includes a secret weapon – dried minced onion. Trust me, it adds a pop of flavor you won't want to miss.

  • Buttery Mustard Bliss! The topping is the crowning glory. A combination of melted butter, mustard, and a touch of Worcestershire sauce creates a luscious spread that perfectly complements the juicy beef. Don't even think about skipping this step!

  • Sweet Hawaiian Rolls! Ditch the plain buns! King's Hawaiian Rolls are a must-have. Their sweet, fluffy texture creates the perfect contrast to the savory beef.

Easy, Affordable, and Insanely Delicious:

This recipe is a winner on all fronts. It's budget-friendly with readily available ingredients, creates minimal mess, and delivers maximum flavor. Basically, it's a recipe for Flavortown residency.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef (85/15 is what i use)

  • 1 Tablespoon dried minced onion

  • ½ teaspoon Better Than Bouillon, Beef

  • ½ cup water

  • Freshly ground black pepper

  • 1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 ½ tablespoons A1 steak sauce

For the Topping:

  • 1 ½ tablespoons yellow mustard

  • ½ cup melted butter (1 stick)

  • 1 tablespoon minced onion

  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Sliders:

  • Pack of King's Hawaiian Rolls

  • Sliced cheese (Havarti or your favorite)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350! Brown the Beef: In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain any excess grease.

  2. Add the dried onion and allow to cook for a minute. Now, add the beef bouillon, water, black pepper, soy sauce, and steak sauce to the skillet. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer. Let the sauce simmer for around 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce has cooked down to your liking.

  3. Assemble the Sliders: Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half. Spread a generous amount of the savory beef mixture on the bottom halves of the rolls. Top with cheese.

  4. The Buttery Mustard Bliss: In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, mustard, minced onion, and Worcestershire sauce. Brush this delicious concoction over the tops of the assembled sliders.

  5. Cover the sliders with foil and bake for about 10-15 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 2-5 minutes or until tops are golden and crispy.

  6. Flavortown Here You Come! Serve your Maid-Rite Sliders hot and devour!

Tips:

  • Feel free to adjust the amount of mustard or Worcestershire sauce in the topping to your taste preference.

  • For a cheesier experience, add a slice of cheese to both the top and bottom of the slider bun.

  • You can also toast the Hawaiian roll halves before assembling the sliders for an extra crispy touch.

These Maid-Rite Sliders are guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser. So ditch the drive-thru and bring the taste of Flavortown to your own kitchen!
