I'm obsessed with these Sweet and Savory Ham and Cheese Croissants and I just had to share! They're the perfect blend of salty, sweet, and buttery goodness that will leave you craving more.
If you aren't a sweet and savory person... I don't get you! Chocolate covered pretzels?? Come on! 😂
These are so dang amazing - every time I make them I am always surprised at how wonderful they turn out. You have the buttery flaky goodness of the croissant, along with the sweetness of the jam paired with the savory ham and the havarti and honey mustard combo just puts it over the top! It’s family friendly-My picky eater opts for no jam and mayo only. I serve this with the most perfect arugula salad (Stay tuned, I’m sharing the recipe for that tomorrow). These make for a perfect light summer dinner, Honestly though they are perfect for ANY time of year!
Ingredients:
4 large croissants
4-8 slices creamy Havarti cheese
Honey baked deli ham (I opt for high quality stuff from behind the counter)
4 teaspoons apricot preserves or jam
High quality honey mustard
2 tablespoons melted butter
Everything bagel seasoning
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Slice croissants in half horizontally.
Assemble: Spread jam on one croissant half, top with two cheese slices and four turkey slices.
Add flavor: Brush butter on top of croissants then season lightly with everything bagel seasoning.
Bake: Place filled croissants on a baking sheet, top with remaining croissant halves, and bake for 6-8 minutes or until cheese melts.
Optional: Drizzle with honey before serving.
