Arby’s Style Beef and Cheddar Sliders
Okay, confession time: I have a borderline unhealthy relationship with the Arby’s drive-thru. There’s just something about that melty cheese sauce and tangy Arby’s Sauce on a roast beef sandwich that hits different. But also… gas prices, long lines, and the fact that I can inhale three Beef ‘n Cheddars without batting an eye? Not exactly ideal.
Enter: Arby’s Style Beef and Cheddar Sliders. Think of them as the bougie, at-home version of your favorite fast-food guilty pleasure—stacked on fluffy Hawaiian rolls (the GOAT of slider bread, let’s be honest).
Here’s why you’re gonna love these:
- They’re way cheaper than hitting the drive-thru for the whole fam.
- They bake all together in one dish, which means you get that dreamy “pull-apart” moment when serving.
- They’re ridiculously easy. Like, the only skill required is not eating all the roast beef straight from the package.
And because no food blog is complete without a fun fact: did you know Arby’s name is actually short for “R.B.”—as in Raffel Brothers—not “roast beef”? Wild, right? You’ve been living a lie your whole life.
The real magic of this recipe comes from the topping: melted butter mixed with minced onion, garlic powder, and poppy seeds brushed over the rolls before baking. It’s like giving your sliders a flavor crown. And once that cheese sauce and Arby’s Sauce hit the warm roast beef? Game over.
Make these for game day, movie night, or just a random Tuesday when you need a fast-food fix without leaving the house. Trust me, your kitchen is about to smell like pure happiness.
Arby’s Style Beef and Cheddar Sliders

Ingredients
- 1 package Hawaiian Rolls
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons minced onion
- 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 lb. roast beef
- ¾ cup melted cheese sauce I used Ragu
- Store-bought Arby’s Sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 275°F. Lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.
- Without separating the rolls, slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in the baking dish.
- Evenly layer the roast beef over the rolls. Drizzle the melted cheese sauce on top, then spread Arby’s Sauce to taste. Place the top half of the rolls back on.
- In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, minced onion, poppy seeds, and garlic powder. Brush this mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the cheese is melty and the sliders are warmed through.
- Slice and serve warm.
