Caesar Salad

This homemade Caesar salad is crisp, garlicky, creamy, and honestly better than anything you'd get in a restaurant. Fresh romaine gets tossed in a velvety dressing made with mayo, lemon juice, anchovy paste, Dijon, Worcestershire, and plenty of parmesan for that classic Caesar flavor. Add crushed croutons and extra shaved parmesan on top, and you’ve got the perfect fresh, crunchy side dish to balance any cozy pasta night.

Instructions

  • Make the Caesar salad dressing. Combine all dressing ingredients and mix. Cover and refrigerate until ready.
  • I like to chop my romaine and soak it in ice water, then run it several times through a salad spinner. After that I pour it out and let it fully dry.
  • Toss the Romaine In a bowl, add crushed croutons and toss the chopped romaine with the Caesar dressing until lightly coated.
