Ingredients

  • 1 package cocktail rolls about 12 rolls
  • 12 cooked meatballs homemade or store-bought
  • 1 cup Blues Hog Original BBQ Sauce plus extra for drizzling
  • 2 tablespoons garlic butter melted butter mixed with garlic or garlic powder

  • Cut the rolls: Use a cup to outline circles on the tops of each roll, then carefully cut out holes with a serrated knife. Pull out some bread to make little pockets.
  • Bake: Place empty rolls in your baking dish. Brush the tops with garlic butter, and bake at 400°F for 6 minutes to get them toasted.
  • Assemble: Spread a little BBQ sauce in the bottom of each pocket. Place a saucy meatball into each hole, then top with cheese.
  • Bake again: Bake for another 6-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. (checking frequently)
